Linda Mencis
Director/Owner
Mrs. Linda Mencis continues her 30th year at Playmates Learning Center. Her two goals this year are to encourage each child at Playmates to become an "independent thinker" and to build a strong relationship between the parents and the school. Mrs. Mencis has four children and 6 wonderful grandchildren. She resides with her husband "Mr. Ed" in Sandown. Mrs. Mencis has a Bachelor's degree in Science and Masters degrees in Social Work and Education. She has a Graduate Certificate in Autism Spectrum Studies from UNH. Mrs. Mencis was the 2001 recipient of the Champion for Children award provided by the New Hampshire School Administrators Association. In 2003, she received the Sandown Citizen of the Year Award and in 2004 received the Brenda Abbott Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award through the New Hampshire Partners in Education.
Kristin McClear
Director/Owner
Ms. Kristin McClear, Office Manager has worked at Playmates for many years. She has worked in many roles at Playmates but enjoys the challenge of managing the infrastructure of our programs.
Salina Freeman
Preschool Teacher
Mrs. Salina Freeman, has previously worked in our Toddler 1 Room and been with us at Playmates for 6 years. We are fortunate to having her loving and nurturing nature for our preschoolers and her desire to help children learn. She lives in Hampstead with her husband Bobby and 2 daughters Haylee and Lily. Mrs. Freeman is originally from Seattle Washington and loves to travel but her favorite place is the beach!
Julie Lemay
Toddler 1 Teacher
Ms. Julie Lemay, Toddler 1 Teacher, has been working with our 1 year old toddlers for several years. She recently became the Lead teacher in this classroom and Ms. LeMay continues to enjoy her wonderful toddlers.
